There is always a full mode of the things in which the process is in full speed and there is a second thing that is called the safe mode. Safe mode is the method in which the subject is in full defensive manner. All the software do not have the safe mode as most of them will not need it but if you want to make complete software then you will need the safe mode for sure. This is why there is safe mode in windows. If you want to install the windows you will need to use the safe mode of the windows. The boot in safe mode windows has some aspects that are given here.

1: First you will need to turn the system on. If the system is already on then you will need to turn it off. You will need to wait 30 seconds and turn it on again. This is really necessary for boot in safe mode windows.

2: System will start and will continue on as it should be. This is the point that you will need to press the F8 button. You have start pressing it when the computer starts and keep pressing it repeatedly until the option for boot in safe mode windows appear. If you are not familiar with F8 then you should look on the top of keyboard right above O there will be F8.

3: There will be some options on the screen that will not appear usually. You will need to press the up or down arrow until you reach the safe mode option. If you have to use the internet to resolve the problem then you have to press the safe mode with networking and if you want to use the cmd then you will need to press the safe mode with command prompt.  These are not as many options in windows 98.

4: When you will enter windows, you will get a massage that you are using safe mode and really want to use it? You must press yes to get into the safe mode.

5: When you have done you are in safe mode and you are ready to do the work that you wanted to do in safe mode. When you have done your work, you can shutdown the windows with the same method like you do in the normal windows.
